What is located between a horse’s nose and its tail?

A Horse, of Course!

Dreams Are Amazing

Dreams represent many different things to everyone. They are as individual as the person they belong to. It is up to you to determine what they mean to you.

My own personal experiences have not been one of in-depth dream investigation, so I tend to be a bit blasé about it all. So when it came time for me to dictate how I handled and managed my own dreams, it was well planned and thought out. Through my studies of the subconscious, I have formed certain opinions of how I would prefer my dreams to reveal their true nature to me. I am about to share a dream event with you. And it probably will not be very exciting to you. I am acting as a journalist reporting, “How it all happened”.

I had a Dream …

There was a fire! But, it was just a small fire1 when I noticed it. As I looked around, it became obvious that nobody else had noticed it. I looked around for something like a fire alarm to “sound the alarm”. But there were none around. No fire fighting equipment, either. I ran around notifying everyone I saw of the fire, but they were preoccupied and just ignored me.

What was completely out of place for me is where this was all taking place. I was in the Engine Room2 of a ship3. Even though I had never been here in this place before, by the equipment and instrumentation I knew what this place was. For some reason, even though the fire was small and almost unnoticeable, I felt a huge sense of urgency; that if the fire wasn’t dealt with immediately that it would destroy the entire ship.

The small fire was coming from some type of electrical component within a clear cover. So there was no easy way to really get to the fire to put it out. Also, to use water on a fire in electrical equipment is not a good idea and can easily lead to electrocution. There were no easy solutions to be had. The unusual thing was the fire was a blue flame, like air is blown through it, sort of like what you see with a torch.

The reason I am telling you the detail is that I want to point out what role the photographic memory plays when it comes to the inner workings of your subconscious mind. Over a week has passed since I had the dream. The images of what occurred in my dream are as clear and intense now as when they first occurred. They are clearer than real life!

Another piece of this vision was a peculiar odor that the flame was giving off; cloying, choking, yet vaguely familiar4. And that smell, too, was completely out of place. It was very pungent, acrid, and thick5. This odor is the prime key that connects all the events together.

I came to the conclusion that I had to be the person that took action otherwise the vessel was doomed!

Here is a list of circumstances that have been brought to my attention:

The small fire

Engine Room

Located in a ship or vessel

Choking smell of smoke, but out of place, odor vaguely familiar

Odor is pungent, acrid, and thick

About the Photographic Memory

Some studies of the photographic memory suggest that memories gained in this way dull and lose their detail in 3 – 4 minutes. But even today, over a week later, I can see it as if was occurring clearly in front of me at this very moment. By my own experiences (too many to count besides this one) I challenge the claims that the photographic memory is not real or has minimal value over long periods of time.

My logic is this: From all of my experience with the photographic memory / eidetic memory, and other cognitive abilities; if someone tells me the photographic memory is just something that goes bump in the night, my own personal evidence and experiences show me otherwise.

Empathy for the Non-Believer…

The photographic memory has been cannon fodder for many people over the years because it is primarily associated with the subconscious mind. Since people are not in good touch with their subconscious, they find it unfathomable to imagine that their photographic memory has never left them; that it has always been there. The only time many of them are in contact with their subconscious is when they are asleep, dreaming.

To some, the adult eidetic memory (photographic memory) is the bastard step-child of the psychological world – to be picked upon. For others like me, we possess our own irrefutable proof that supports our unwavering conviction of its existence and accessibility to everyone.

Have you ever wondered why, when you go through your daily activities, that you do not meet these people all over the place? Approximately 1 out of every 20 people you encounter are serious eidetikers that have some relationship with their photographic memory. It is because at an early age, they were taught to hide their abilities. I know many people that went through school making sure to miss 1 or 2 questions on their tests so they didn’t draw attention to themselves.

It comes down to this. Recognizing and trusting your photographic memory is a relationship, between you (your conscious) and a lover that has left you that you no longer trust (your subconscious). Even when you find that your subconscious has been right there all along, it still doesn’t commit you to trusting it. That is why you must be taught how to build and support that relationship. Eventually, you come to trust it once again. Thus, your photographic memory is allowed to be a part of your life once more.

Revisiting the Dream

So now we can go back to what led us here in the first place; my dream. Again, I have had a significant dream that my photographic memory remembers every detail of. What does it have to do with my life? What is the connection? My surroundings in my dream were completely foreign from anyplace I had ever visited. Where did it all fit?

Along my personal soul searching for methodically simplifying my relationship with my own subconscious, I decided long ago to direct my mind to only remember dreams that were important to me. Since I dream hundreds of dreams each night, it is nice to pre-filter them down to remembering just the important dreams. With the gravity and intensity this dream possessed, I knew it must be important to me. It was.

The Connection

That morning while feeding the horses, I noticed that one horse had a cough that turned out to be an upper respiratory infection. He had not eaten much of the food from the previous night and had not drunk his water. He also had an elevated temperature and a sore throat. (You think us humans have it bad when we have a sore throat, think of an equine having a sore throat. That is a lot of throat! Be thankful it was not a giraffe!)

The sore throat and the cough is something he would most likely get over naturally without treatment. But whenever horses don’t drink, they dehydrate. Dehydration leads to colic, and equine colic is deadly. Most horses that don’t get to old age die of colic. So, I am not just treating the horse for the cough, sore throat, and fever; I am also treating him for colic. I really don’t need to go into all the details as to how you treat a horse for colic. Let’s say it is a bit messy at times when dealing with that side of things.

But along with the mess, there are particular odors and a cloying acrid smell. To another horse, it is like walking through the rose garden. But it is different for humans. But keep in mind; I would select a horse when compared to most other animals for those types of odors. (My experiences in life have taken me far and wide.)

So let’s take a look at the list we created before:

The small fire – Sore throat and elevated temperature.

Engine Room – The Engine Room of the horse is his gut. If that doesn’t work, he is DEAD in the water – Equine colic.

Located in a ship or vessel – The vessel IS the horse. The entire list had to do with the horse. If I had not acted quickly, my chances of saving the horse would get bad quickly.

Choking smell of smoke, but out of place, odor vaguely familiar – The odor of equine feces, making note of the colic.

Odor is pungent, acrid, and thick – Same thing.

Remember Important Dreams

When I remembered the dream, it signaled me to take heed and pay attention to my surroundings. The detail from the dream gave me specific insight that allowed me to connect-the-dots. Most of the dots were seen after the fact. That is why it is said that “hindsight is 20/20 vision”. The result of me being aware of a potential problem and acting quickly, I was successful at saving the horse. Today he was running around the paddock as he normally does, without a care, as horses do. (Joke ahead… He is so inconsiderate. He didn’t even thank me. Neigh!) The story may have had a different ending if I had not acted when I did.

Epilogue:

Because I have directed my subconscious to make only my important dreams memorable, I can easily tell what dreams I need to pay attention to. Coupled by the fact that I fully accept my photographic memory as a part of me as a complete human being, I cannot be dissuaded from tapping into it and using it. With the recall of critical key pieces of information from my dream in high resolution for an extended period of time allowing me the avenue to remember each detail completely while I am writing this story for you. After I have completed the writing, the event will be shelved because it has served its’ functions.

I hope you found this article intriguing and are enjoying the use of your photographic memory. There is a big bright world out there you are most likely not experiencing. Life is full of experiences waiting just for you. But you must take those first steps to make it all happen.

Your passion helps you have great relationships with lovers, family and friends

It seems to me that there are few things more important than relationships with lovers, family and friends.

Living your life with passion has a huge impact on your relationships.

Here are 7 key strategies to provoke your thinking on how and why this linkage between passion and relationships is so strong.

1. The willingness to be true to yourself.

Stop trying to appeal to everybody: you won’t! Yet, to whom will you appeal? This is almost impossible to answer, particularly since every person experiences life uniquely, through the filters of their subconscious minds. And it is our subconscious minds that enable us, indeed drive us, to create our beliefs and behaviors.

Therefore, the most effective strategy is to be true to your own beliefs and values, and to be true to how you wish to live your life; those with whom you come into contact can then make their own choices on whether they are attracted to you or not. You become ‘authentic’.

2. Doing the work to discover and pursue your passion.

I have been researching and speaking on the topic of passion for over 18 years, and have pursued my passions for over 50 years. What is ‘passion’? It is a source of unlimited energy from your soul, or spirit, or heart that enables you to produce extraordinary results.

When you are passionate, you immediately raise your personal energy and become far more attractive to other human beings. As the law of gravity states: the inter-attractiveness of a body to another is determined by its mass, and your passion increases your metaphysical mass. You will stand out from the crowd, and others will notice you more readily.

3. The willingness to simplify your life.

There is too much ‘stuff’’ in our lives that does not fulfill us, nurture us, or give us lasting joy.

When you discover your passion, you are more able to decide what is important to you. You can discard unnecessary complexities that you are hoarding, or pursuing, ‘just in case’ they might make you happy. Simplifying your life creates time for you to devote to your relationships that have been created because you are being true to you.

4. The willingness to be vulnerable.

I learned a long time ago that when vulnerability meets vulnerability, it creates intimacy. Intimacy is the hallmark of great relationships.

When you are vulnerable, open, honest, courageous, and true to yourself, other people are more likely to feel your essence and respond similarly Then intimacy can be created, and you need to spend less time proving your commitment to the relationships: others become less demanding because the feeling of intimacy is a powerful glue that holds the relationships.

5. Allow others to be true to themselves.

Release your need for others to behave in ways that suit you. If you are going to be true to yourself, then allow others to do the same. That way, you can more quickly decide whether you are truly attracted to another person, or whether it’s their ‘act’ that has drawn you in. Real and valuable relationships can form more quickly.

6. Adopt the concept of ‘Parallel Thinking’.

Edward de Bono’s book ‘Parallel Thinking’ beautifully explores our 3000-year tradition of Western philosophical thought that proposes there is ‘truth’ to be discovered in any issue. De Bono however says there are often times when competing ideas or thoughts can run ‘in parallel’ because there is no truth: for example, in designing a new car or a new building.

By allowing parallel thoughts to run in your relationships, you become much more flexible, leading to less conflict about what is right, wrong, true or untrue, and you become much more lovable and fun to be with.

7. The willingness to learn the principles of time management.

I have worked with many time poor executives over the past 18 years, in both corporate groups and as their executive coach. I am appalled by the quality of time management skills of most of them!

Develop your ability to protect your time and invest it in matters that are of importance to you, particularly the building of great relationships. There are many sources available to learn these skills. If you invest your time in developing these skills, you will enjoy a remarkable reduction in stress and a remarkable increase in your experience of the many joys of life.

What have you done lately to support your insights? Have you taken steps to increase mental clarity? Do you have the ability to be flexible with information?

Are your insights spontaneous?

What have you done lately to support your insights? Have you taken steps to increase mental clarity? Do you have the ability to be flexible with information? Do you have ways to access and use large amounts of information fast? Have you set aside the “lateral” from your lateral thinking, leaving you with just “thinking” about what could be?
Insights are your mental edge in life. They are our ability to foresee problems and invent solutions; and they are your opportunity for success and greatness. I guess that means the whole world could do with a little more insight. But, this is not about the world; this is about YOU.

What can I do about it?

Well how do you go about strengthening your ability to have more insight? Mental discipline is the easiest answer, because it will increase your brain power so you can achieve these feats. Once you learn how to manage your brain, you gain clarity. You begin to see life and the world around you in a new light. This new perception will give you avenue to solve the same old problem in completely new ways.

Most mind disciplines use meditation because it is the most consistent and effective way to clear the cobwebs from your mind and gain FOCUS. You should use meditation over an extended period of time. You would first be using it to clean up the circumstances you currently face. Then, as you continue to use meditation, it will assist you with your goals, your life path, and mapping out the incredible journey you are on.

Dedicated meditators feel “A day without meditation is like a day without sunshine!”, and that you should start each day with some sort of meditation, no matter how brief. One of the primary things that most people are taught to do while meditating is plotting your path to success. This is also referred to as subconscious programming or self-hypnosis. The best thing about it is it puts you into the driver’s seat. You are the one in control.

The only downside to subconscious programming is knowing what you need to program to gain your results. It may just be your lack of information that sets you back. There is a companion technique that gives you ample information to use for programming. Even better; you get the information at the same vibrational energy as your meditation. You can even receive information that you cannot consciously remember, but that your subconscious has stored. This technique for gaining information is called Mental Photography. It allows the user to transcend the normal conscious speed of comprehension, which is slow and laborious.

So, how do I get my Programs to work?

Do you want your programs to work, or just work better? With Mental Photography in your arsenal, they will. Just imagine how the Law of Attraction will accelerate around you. When you have the information already formatted for your personal “download”, anything and everything can happen – fast. Your insights will become so automated, things will simply be happening almost before you are even thinking about them. We refer to this as instantaneous manifestation.

Really?…

You may think I am out on a limb here. My experience has shown me incredible things are not only possible, they are probable. You can choose to make the difference in your life by gaining clarity, insight, information, and success.

I don’t know too many people that are just “satisfied” sitting there doing nothing. So, don’t just sit there. Do something!

As I pointed out in the past, the world is not fair. It does not care about you. You are the only one that will make the difference. You must participate. Start today!

Great Things Happen Here!

Ask Yourself:

Do you feel like you never get enough done? Do you procrastinate? Do you ever wish that ‘time’ was something you could buy more of? Do you take time to enjoy life?

For the Time Being:

There are a lot of renditions of this perturbated quote: “Do not today, what you can put off till tomorrow.”

Well, “Time is of the essence!”

When you procrastinate, things that need to be done are building up. Eventually something is going to happen. Sometimes it happens in very uncomfortable ways. Make it a positive step to achieve the things you have been putting off. Don’t worry, they have not gone away. (Check out the ‘Sword of Damocles‘.)

When it comes to speeding up how you get things done, turn them over to your subconscious mind to work on. Amazingly things will get done quicker.

What? You don’t know how to turn things over to your subconscious? Where would you go to find out? What would you do? who would you ask? Would you ask your neighbor? (WARNING: Joke Ahead!) Maybe you should ask the police to help you find your subconscious. That would make for an interesting police report. (Joke Ended.)

How about asking us? We have been teaching people how to turn objectives over to their subconscious for over 35 years.

Time is Passing You By.

So, are you going to just let time pass you by? Or, are you going to do something?

Someday I may tell you what time is. But for now, it is important that you start observing what it is, and what it can do for you. It is as precious as life itself.

Great Things Happen Here!

...you can learn to trust your intuition and gain insights how to solve your problems. By gaining access to reliable Intuition, many other talents come to light

How would you like to have the ability to simply solve your problems? Is it even possible? Yes, if you trust your intuition. ZOX Pro teaches you how.

I have an oversimplified “logical” (Ha Ha!) way of defining intuition. It is “simply knowing the solution to a problem, without consciously knowing all the steps in between”. That is a good starting point.

We talk about the conscious and the subconscious as if they are two friends standing there beside us. Well, they both reside in our brain. The conscious is the part we deal with on an everyday basis, while we work, play, go to school, and general activities. The subconscious is the shadowy other side that we must point our attention at to gain purposeful access to it during our day. Although, it is very open to us while we sleep.

Both the conscious and the subconscious have different operating parameters. One of these deals with the QUANTITY of information you have at hand. The conscious has only a small fraction of the information that is available to the subconscious.

If you are making important decisions, which one would you choose? The conscious mind that has only limited information, or the subconscious that has UN-limited information? Most people would choose the subconscious.

Intuition is how we gain the answers the subconscious has for us. The process of ZOXing teaches your brain to process more and more information this way so it becomes a reliable resource for you. It does not just come from one exercise; it comes from the synergistic process as a whole.

So yes, you can learn to trust your intuition and gain insights how to solve your problems. By gaining access to reliable Intuition, many other talents and gifts come to light as well.

If you’d like to improve and trust your intuition, we encourage you to start ZOXing by visiting: http://www.ZOXpro.com/

Natural Brain Entrainment vs. Artificial Brainwave Induction

When I first posted this article, my intent was to be clear and only speak of one specific circumstance where the system that someone was using didn’t provide what his goal was. I wanted to keep it brief – maybe too brief. (I apologize to my readers that I was not more thorough.) This added a degree of confusion to the point I was hoping to make – which I am now re-stating.

Please keep in mind, that there are many different systems, and even technical electronic systems that are available in the marketplace. The idea that this is not an endorsement for brain entrainment is not true. This article is about a circumstance that needs to be addressed – that not all methods fit the personal results that a person is wanting to achieve.

While the electronic device referred to in the following article did not do the job it was purchased to do, does not mean that the device would not work with other objectives. It is up to the end user to decipher if the method or device is right for them AND will accomplish the objective they are seeking.

Because of the type of system that I personally use and teach, Brain Management and Mental Photography, my personal opinion is to KEEP IT NATURAL. Another way to look at this, is most of us only use <3% of our mental ability. So if a device or method can expand our parameters so that we have more ‘brain power’ great,… so long as when we take the outside stimulus away, the enhanced capabilities remain.

I have left the article in place. Please contemplate the information given above, before proceeding. Thank you.

This topic may be a bit ‘full on’ for some readers of Mind To Mind, so I will keep it as simple and to the point as I can. I will explain just one of the differences between Artificial Brainwave Induction and Natural Brain Entrainment, by telling you a story of what happened to a client of mine.

He was in his first year of study at a major university. As with most people attending, he wanted to get good grades. He studied many different areas of brain enhancement, including artificial brain wave inducement to get the ‘edge’. There were a couple of application flaws he overlooked, unfortunately.

He felt that electronic technology had allot to offer over sound brain exercise that would maximize his efforts into usable output. So, every time he studied, he ‘hooked up’ to his expensive technical device, he was able to input all of the study material into a specific predetermined frequency within his brain.

He showed great results with testing, also while ‘hooked up’. The unfortunate thing was when he went into the exam – HE FAILED MISERABLY!

Why?,… What was the problem? What he didn’t account for is “the way you put the information in, is also the way the information must come out”. Since his teacher was not about to allow him to ‘hook up’ to his little machine, the information was locked up, and not able to come through.

When I met this gentleman, he related his story to me, and told me that he was now ready to learn how to do it the right way,… the natural way, with Mental Photography. Out of consideration for his embarrassment, I never revealed it to the class.

I hope you found this true story insightful. Please make sure you’re not the one ‘caught out’!

Mind To Mind has your best interests in mind for you. This includes issues as to who should be in control of your mind, who should be programming your mind, and who should be manipulating you through the access to your brain and subconscious. The answer should be YOU!
